I know! The new puppy would feel inferior I can't do that to a new puppy!

Although, i couldn't do that to my first dog when she was a puppy either. She never went through that caged period they recommend and so a lot of my stuff got chewed and peed on!

See now when it comes to cats I agree with JD. They're GREAT if someone else has em.

I would never want to own one though. They just creep me out. They stare at you while you sleep!

What?!!

I have to ask - have you ever lived with a cat before? I hear that from a lot of people who have never owned a cat, and then once they move in with "the girlfriend with a cat", they end up just as attached - if not more!

I've got four of 'em! None of them are psychotic. In fact, one was psychotic before she got to my house, now she as sweet as any lap cat. My theory is that cats are just great at reflecting the environment they're in. Dyfunctional home -> dysfunctional cat. Dogs just love you no matter what... poor dogs.
