Hey! That Revlon stock TANKED AGAIN! It's under a buck a share!
Some stupid place issued a positive report on cosmetic manufacturers and everyone else stocks shot up but the one company they ripped was Revlon and they dropped more that 14%!!!!
Dangit!
There's still one analyst on my Microsoft Money that has it listed as a strong buy. I'm thinking it's that Perleman guy!!!
Help! My computer locked up a few minutes ago so I shut it down and rebooted, now I keep getting this stupid baloon popping up every 2 seconds telling me it does not recognize a USB device. Any idears?

You got any USB devices plugged into it? If you do I'd unplug em' and try plugging em' back in. Of course, this is really a question better answered by Web again. What exactly IS my purpose here?
Seriously now Sparky, this is REVLON, they're not going anywhere. The stock HAS to be undervalued at .99 doesn't it?!?!?!? I mean, five years out don't you see this being at least three or four times that price?
IF IF Revlon does some serious restructuring within the company Then yes I could see it going back up. Next time I am in the office remind me to get some print outs for you. I can fax them to you if you have a fax.

Wow, you really think they're headed in the toilet though huh?
I know their profit outlooks (or should I say their loss outlooks) are grim through the end of this year. I also know they're trying to restructure some debt which makes me nervous. But I hate to bail on the stock now that I'm kind of dragged into the muck with it.
Did you get your balloon to stop popping up on the computer?
Sparky, try removing any USB devices from their respective connections. Next, re-insert said devices back into the USB sockets and see if the error goes away.
Phew!! Yes I did, It must have been the printer, I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it quit. Just like the silly little pop up balloon said to do!
Do you have a lot into it now?
If you are at a high loss right now and wouldn't gain much by selling it, then I say let it ride and see what it does. If you can get out of it and still come out enough to put it in something else well then...

Sparky, I only have 3000 shares, but bought em' at what I THOUGHT was the bottoming out point of around $1.75, so it's a fairly big loss at this point.
At the same time, some of the other stuff I've messed with has paid off, so the overall loses aren't so bad, but it still bugs me to know I dropped so much on one.
That's why I'm hoping to just park it and wait it out. I mean, as long as they don't file bankrupty or something it can't really get much worse right? Good grief, at what point will they be delisted from the NYSE?
yeah, that's why I went with em'. Because I like to play around.
I usually buy 1000 shares of a low cost stock, wait for it to go up .12 a share, and then sell it for the $100 profit.
That has worked very well for all the other stocks I've tried. Sometimes it takes a week, sometimes two or three, but eventually they always hit the mark and I move on to another one.
But I got greedy with Revlon. I saw it go from nearly 4 to under 2 in a single day and I thought the market was being overly reactionary (which it REALLY has been lately, a Sheik in Iran sneezes and everyone sells their stocks).
Ugh. I hate being stuck. I only allow myself a certain amount to play with and I have half of it locked up in this now :( That means less playtime for JR :(
