called his work, left a message in the am. Called his home, he was "at the car dealership". Told the kid to have him call me back by 8 pm. He didn't, so I called my insurance company to get some advice, they put me in touch with his insurance company who took the info for the claim.

Just finished up the police report, will submit that tomorrow.

told his insurance company my neck was still pretty sore, it is unknown at this time if I will seek medical attention yet.

I already have a repair quote,  & I will see what their adjuster says. Maybe they will buy off my sore neck too.  

ah well- his choice.

my insurance company already called it no fault of my own.

So he, with 3 speeding tickets, and now this accident, can go hunt for car insurance. good luck. I tried to save the guy an increase in his premium, this from marring his already bad driving record, a police report that will show up on cars.dom showing that his car was damaged which will affect the resale value. (I wanted to save my car from this too, but ah well). Nothin that a nice check for a sore neck buy out won't make better. I still plan on keepin this car 9 more years...run it into the ground unless another boneheads wrecks it first....

I agree. I mean $1050 is a lot of money to come up with, cash, just like that. especially if he is repairing his own car or looking into buying a new one. Even a callback "I can't do it", fine, good, I respect that. But don't say "I can do that" and then don't, with no callback.

His is a BMW. Unless he's faking it, he's probably got access to money if he really wanted to do it this way.

So we do it the hard way....ah well......

She is sound asleep in the recliner. I have yet to be brave enough to pick her up and put her to bed. I will share my chocolate as long as JD doesn't mind.
