The "man" has shut me down

I realize that my presence on here has been lacking the past 3-4 months.  The reason?  The "man" here at work has shut streaming internet radio down.


 


Obviously, it makes me angry.  But, I've dealt with it.  I hope all has been well on here. It's been too long.  I hope everyone's been enjoying the summer.  I can't stand the heat that has plagued Milwaukee as of late, but I gather other parts of this world are feeling it too.

Hi Somechick-


that bums me out. Internet radio "leeches" bandwidth! BAH!!! Internet radio allows workers to tune out distracting and annoying office noise so they can work more productively!

I can't believe the IT posse shut us all down.  Their department was the biggest offenders.  Sigh.


 


oh well, I need to get back on this, even if I can't hear the music during the day.

Nope. The wedding's in November.  I'm under the 4 month mark, and apparently, that means that all of the small stuff I've tried to avoid must now get done. 


Everyday that clicks by and I don't plan or make a decision, I feel the gray hairs and wrinkles pop out. It's not pretty.


 


I wish the hubby (I"ve just resorted to start calling him that) would have kidnapped me to cancun.  At least there I could get internet access and streaming radio.

Wow! That's soooooooo wierd. I could have sworn you were getting married a few months ago. Huh. I guess I'm just a typical guy, never really paying attention (thought I'd beat Ruby and Allycat to the punch on that one)

I know it seems like forever. I got engaged in December, and it's pretty much been a roller coaster ever since.  Maybe it was the threat of if I didn't get engaged around Christmas, January was going to be a bad month for the hubby.


Don't even feel bad for a second. I think the hubby even forgets when the day is.  All I know is November 19th can't come fast enough.  Because that day, my life will go back to normal.  Boring, boring, boring.  It'll be heaven.

I've got to get out of here for now. I'm gonna put gameday on the computer and watch the Brewers attempt to win today.


The good news is my other hubby, Chris Capuano, is on the mound.  The bad news is we're already down a run.  sigh.

Glad you stopped by- I will always remember Somechick for praying for me when I was going through a difficult time with my family
