Actually, when we buy a house, that's something we've considered doing. Brian refuses to mow grass at his own house, so I'd have to do it, and with my reputation for household chores, we'd probably have at least foot high grass before I'd mow it.
Refuses to mow grass at his OWN house? Where else would he mow it?
Usually it's the other way around and you refuse to mow grass when you rent.
Did he have to work for awhile as a landscaper or something? Something that turned him against lawn mowing?
No, he wouldn't mow if we rented a house either. He's a groundskeeper (as well as maitenence) for another apartment complex, so he only mows at work because he has to.
right now I just got in from the grocery store. On my block it looks like 4 or 5 seperate groups of people getting together to go to the ballgame tonight!!

Well, I am new to my neighborhood. However, yesterday there were about 3 firetrucks and 6 police cars at the apartment across the road from me. I still have NO clue what was going on.
I have been here about 4 days now and I have yet to meet my neighbors. I guess that I should go next door and introduce myself. I am surrounded by men. The guy in the apartment next to me works third shift so I never see him. The guy in the house beside me works two jobs so I don't see him either.
my neighborhood is very boring. I live on a cul de sac and none of us talk to each other, just wave on occasion. We all just hang out in the back yards by the pool. I love picking fresh lemons off my tree and watching the palm trees sway in the breeze.
