I was watching Billy Madison this weekend and saw the penguin.

My favorite is where he goes over to the teachers house and the penguin is on the stairs inside sipping a drink and he thinks she and the penguin have been messing around.

Funny, I saw a commercial this weekend w/ dancing penguins in it too, and I thought of Jeremy.  I can't tell you what the commercial was for but I can remember seeing the penguins and saying hey, Riggs would like that.

I thought of Jeremy on Thursday afternoon. We were in the fishing village of Seahouses and had been on a boat trip around the farne Islands - seeing shags and kittiwakes and sweet puffins...


In a shop they sold soft toys - puffins...and i thought how nice it would be if a penguin was there as i could have taken some nice pics of Jeremy's English cousin...

Yeah...seen em on pictures and TV and books and internet but to see them in real life for the first time made me feel dead happy and emotional even!

It was awesome for me...I loved every minute of that boat trip...The daughter noticed my eyes had glazed over with nearly tears...and gave me a bit of stick lol....we saw seals too, and a seal pup too.....
