Darlene's daughter

You all have such beautiful children.  I have to add my own.  An only child (but not spoiled)  She no longer wears little pink rufflely party dresses, wears tap shoes, or rides on her daddy's shoulders.  She is 20 years old, and as you all know, the light of my life.  As a single mother of this 20 year old I have to be constantly on my toes watching, and asking her a lot of questions.

If someone ever puts together a FFR forum "our children" photo album, you may add her to it. And if you ever need a babysitter, just ask her, she is soooo good with little kids.

Just give her plenty of notice, it'll take her awhile to get there........  she might even have to stay overnight........

Molly: I can remember when I could wear that type of dress, not so long ago.  Now at 40 there are parts of me that just aren't where they used to be.  If you know what I mean.....

I can't get over how much your daughter looks like you Darlene! You could have totally put that picture up as your own and I would have bought it! Looks like the pretty gene runs in the family

Here we are the same day the other picture was taken last month.  We attended a family member's wedding.  It's funny, I had her when I was 20 years old, she is now 20 years old, and I don't think she could handle being a parent at her age, even though I did it!!!!

She is exactly half my age, almost to the day.

Now that gap in age gets smaller and smaller

So what'd it feel like that first time you had to "look up" to your daugher Darlene? That's gotta be wierd when your child starts getting taller than you Makes it harder to give her a stern lecture about something I bet!

All conversations start like this:  "Have a seat, I need to talk to you.."  and then I proceed to stand in front of her.

Ok, help me out here, I've been saying the name over and over in my head. Is pronounced Kyeesha or Kaysha?

i like that name.  all my kids have mundane names.  maranda, jacob and isaac.  so, how did you choose that name?  is it a family name?  i don't think i've ever heard that before.
