For anyone who did forget, it repeats on Saturday.

it's really sad that the real MTV isn't doing a thing for it's 25th anniversary. Do the MTV programmers realize how much those of us who are over sixteen (and I've even encountered 14-15 year olds who wish they were older to have experience MTV when they played music) think the channel sucks now? Laguna Beach does not belong on MTV, there is NOTHING music oriented about it. At least I can excuse stuff like Nick and Jessica and The Osbournes, because they're musicians.
I wish someone who cares about music would take back over MTV. I have been loving VH1 Classic today.
I think in an interview, I heard an MTV rep say that they want to look to the future, not the past, or something like that. Which really just makes me shake my head. MTV is no longer music television.

what future is that? Lame reality shows with pampered annoying Paris Hilton-wannabes? I believe the lack of videos on MTV has hurt record sales just as much as downloading. How do you expect cd's to sell 6-10 million these days if there is no outlet for the music to be heard?
