Caffeine is my shepherd; I shall not doze.


It maketh me to wake in green pastures:


It leadeth me beyond the sleeping masses.


It restoreth my buzz:


It leadeth me in the paths of consciousness for its name's sake.


Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of addiction,


I will fear no Equal (tm):


For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me.


Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of The Starbucks:


Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over.


Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life:


And I will dwell in the House of Mocha's forever.


 


With enough coffee, anything is possible.        


 


Instant human. Just add coffee.

I must be in the minority, I don't like coffee. I like Chai Lattes, but I usually make it from the tea. Froo froo coffee, as my dad would say.

I don't like coffee either Trish.

I LOVE the smell of it, and I love coffee flavored ANYTHING, but actual coffee I can't stand.

Well, the only way I wind up liking the taste of coffee is if I add a ton of sugar and cream, and then it just becomes so unhealthy for you that I can't drink it without feeling guilty.

When I got my first apartment back in '89 I actually bought a small 4 cup coffee maker and brewed coffee everyday just to have the smell in the house when I woke up.

I did that for about a year before I decided it was too wasteful.

Personal preference... Double tall, non-fat, hazelnut latte' (2 oz. of espresso in a 12 oz. cup!!) I'm a former Barista @ SBucks. We did shots of espresso until my co-worker got sort of sick feeling... very shakey. Espresso shot dropped in to the middle of whipped cream with raspberry syrup. Man, that's the s*it!

that does sound pretty good B-man. I only drink mocha's mango mocha's it sounds scary but its yummy! Try it you'll like it.

Here's the scene...


Psych office, I'm on the couch, doc says "so, when did this coffee drinking begin?"


I reply, "When I was twelve, I worked weekends at a company my parents had just started. I didn't want to waste my money on sodas like the rest of the kids in my family so, I drank coffee because it was free."


Of course, the cup of "coffee" was really powdered creamer and sugar with some coffee poured over the top!

Yeah, I can't drink coffee unless I doctor it, but once it's got sugar and cream, yum! I miss flavored creamers!

If I were to order from Starbucks, I'd get a grande low-fat caramel latte. Lately, I've been getting grande iced lattes with 2 sugars (I don't think I can havve the caramel syrup any more).
