Ok so after a week of my Internet Explorer freezing up after viewing three pages and having to keep hitting control+alt+delete to get the browser to even close- and running everything known to man to try to see if it was spyware or a virus, I gave up and downloaded Firefox. Not a single freeze up all afternoon!

I tried Firefox awhile back and it drove me crazy! i wonder if I just wasn't ready to give it a real chance. Maybe I should try it again.

Definately! The tabs are the greatest! I love the extensions too.

I used to use Weatherbug, but I swear it had a lot of spyware and crap that would run with it.

Now i have the five day outlook extension on firefox so the info is right there on my toolbar. Not obtrusive at all, and just the weather, no junk to go with it!

Tabbed browsing: Right-click on a link and select "Open Link In New Tab" (or hold the Ctrl key while clicking on a link). It will open that linked site in a new tabbed window within the Firefox main window. You now have two sites open and by selecting the appropriate tab, you can move back and forth between sites.

The beauty of this is that you can have many sites open in tabs, but only one main Firefox open in your task bar at the bottom of the screen.

Yeah, I couldn't live without Firefox now. When I have to use Explorer for something, I keep trying to open things in tabs! And look at the bottom of the screen for the weather. And click the quick bookmarks on top. And...

You can find a good deal of the extensions here: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions.php?app=firefox

You can also go to View- Toolbars- Customize to change the layout of your screen to put buttons where you want them. I don't remember, I might have had to actually put my weather in the corner.

When you find an image, right click on it and select Copy Link Location. Then come back to the forum and click the IMG button, and paste in the link.

You probably have to download the latest version of Flash to see your webcams.

I can't see the now playing list on the home page either, but I never have a reason to need to, so I've never looked into it.

I've never gotten the now playing screen to work on the homepage in firefox, I don't know that it will with any plugin.

To be honest though, I feel like it's become a pretty useless part of the page and I've been wondering if I should just scrap it.

It only shows three songs, and with the way our station plays ANYTHING it doesn't really tell someone what to expect to hear when they tune in.

Hm, I had no problem with it. It did take a little while to load though. It looks like it uses Windows Media Player. I'm assuming you have that?

I do, but never needed to use that program to view this zoo's cam. They automatically loaded on the page. E likes to look at the pandas everyday- I can still use IE for that!

Wow! That's never worked on mine before either. After I read your post I went and checked and sure enough it's working.

Live365 was doing some maintenance and upgrades last night, that must have been one of them. They said it involved better accessability with various softwares among other things.

Whaddya know! Everyonce in awhile they give us a little value for all the cash we give em!

Actually though, knock on wood, they have been doing better with not dropping listeners and having prolonged outtages. I think they're working hard to upgrade their systems.

That is SO important. When we started they would have a drop a week at the very least and we could really see that a decent chunk of listeners wouldn't come back, perhaps trying another station.

During one particularly bad month we lost nearly half our audience by the time they finaly stopped having daily drops.

People were just getting frustrated and saying it wasn't worth it. I think they went back to regular radio or CDs.
