? to all listeners out there....Is there a song that is plain painful to hear that gets requested a lot? Is there a song that makes you wonder why the hell anyone would request it? just curious. if so, what song?

Well for the last year certain songs get requested almost everyday- see the top twenty list. Some of the songs I might have liked, but they get old. Otherwise, I try to respect everyone's taste. That is what is so great about this place- you can request what you want to hear, so if the songs stink, at least you know a couple of them you will like!

We used to have a member that requested Barbie Girl almost daily and that song has no musical value!

Ruby, hell no I would never be offended- I think it's funny because I used to hate that song in the 80s. Now that I think about it, Charleston would be better to visit because of all the history. I'd love to see some of the social "teas" that take place with the ladies in those huge hats and stuff. I think we can all learn a lesson in politeness from people in Charleston. I'll be the first to agree with all of you that many drivers from the Chicago are are just horrible. It irritates me and I'm from here.

Yeah Charleston is awesome to be a tourist in. It has SO much to offer- the historical homes, the civil war stuff, the beach, water parks, now an outlet mall, gardens and plantations, my church turned 300 this year! People here just can't drive- especially in the rain. It is pathetic to listen to a traffice report around here when it rains. The one year it snowed here was the worst!

PBS did a show on Charleston awhile back, it looks as beautiful as New Orleans, if not even moreso. I'd love to go there someday. The old houses look beautiful.

I have not heard that! But we do have our share. The first trip on the boat this year we got into a patch of some- they were jelly balls- there must have been 1000! Emily thought it was neat. There are so many types out there too- I stay away from all, but I know jelly balls do not sting. I have been stung by one- ouch!

Thump that picture is deceiving. Downtown Charleston is not really that built up- that is the view from that angle. They only allow the hospital to be so many stories, not sure how many, but there are no and never will be any skyscrapers.

Yeah, I just saw this two days ago. They said some beaches were being shut down because a ton of people had been stung. I also read it on MSNBC.

The year I got stung they had the same thing going on that weekend. BUT they do not tell the locals and do not advertise it here- bad for tourism.

My birth records were lost when I came to this country from Cuba. They don't keep very good records down there.
