I forget who gave me the tip to find it, but I had been searching for that song for about 20 years.

I thought it was about a little green alien, and I remembered the I WUV YOU I WUV YOU TO BITS part. So I went to dozens of stores and no one had a clue what it was.

When I started the station I mentioned it on air probably four times and no one could ever help me figure it out.

Then about a year ago someone emailed me and said they thought it was called the little blue man. I did a search and BAMMO there it was! The Search Was Over (thank you Survivor).

Itunes had it as a download!

The cool thing was, My dad and I had been driving somewhere one night when I was like 7 or 8 and the song came on and we laughed our butts off. Neither of us knew who it was or what the title was.

We talked about it a couple times over the years and I always wanted to find it just to play it for him. I was fortunate enough that I found it about 6 months before he passed away and he was still doing really well.

I had him stop by and surprised him by playing it. It was a great day because I also found some old CD's of songs he used to sing when I was a kid that drove me nuts, so we played those too and talked about the "old days".

I was SO fortunate. I really had a fantastic relationship with my Dad and have no regrets about anything.

I know so often when someone loses somebody they wish they'd said that, and they wish they'd done that, but I think we were pretty ok. Of course, I wish I could have got him to talk a little more, he was one of those old-fashioned guys that kept his problems to himself. But that's who he was and I can respect it.

Here, you're a bit weepy tonight. Sparky's gonna wanna know why your eyes are all red and puffy in the morning!

OK, I'm gonna take a cue from Ally and I'm going to say goodnight and then ACTUALLY LEAVE!

I kinda like that I have several stalkers....it keeps me busy.

Riggs, needs stalking lessons. Gifts are good. He does a good job at watching me but the little extra's make the stalker.
