Well might have to venture to the new Tanger Outlets and the tax free weekend. Might be a short trip- I hate the crowds! Hope everyone has a great!

I need to get started on my friend's wedding dress today. But other than that, I have no plans. I'll probably go swimming and sit out i the sun a bit more today.

THe brunch for the folks was nice.....my brother has a little portable dvd player and so did a picture show of the grandkid for them and gave them the disk. I got grandma out there, and we had a nice brunch. We visited with them at their house after for awhile. Showed my dad some cool computer stuff, he is really having fun learning......a nice afternoon.

Went to the parade. It was a long one. The boy got candy. The boy was happy.

Parade got over, getting ready to leave, boy fell down scraped his knee and bawled for 20 minutes. Boy not happy.

Drove through McDonalds on the way home, got ice cream, boy happy.

Now we are getting ready to go to the fairgrounds for the Pioneer Family awards. My family is getting an award for living and working the same land for 100 years. No, I'm not quite that old . . . my great grandfather started it all 100 years ago.

just checking in. Hubby is having an allergy attack or something. He woke up with like a ball stuck in his throat. He's losing his voice and keeps getting nauseous. He took some Claritin and looks pretty whooped! i'm doing laundry. Oh yeah we went to the girls b-day party that went well.
