My daughter Kaisha turns 21 years old on New Year's Eve.  She was born on 12/31/1985 at 11:16PM.... almost the new years day baby!!


She can't wait for New Year's Eve either.. it's all she keeps talking about.


Go Patriots.... (figured I'd throw that in there, since we are talking football)

That had to be wierd! One hour after she was born you could say you had your first child LAST year!

Wow! That had to be wierd! One hour after she was born you could say you had your first child LAST year!


Hey, I never thought of that....JR


But once I was put up in my room after delivery I could look out the hospital window for "First Night" and see the fireworks.... it was pretty spectacular after 27 hours of labor and delivery.  A fine beginning to such a life changing event!!

Yeah! What a capper! Give birth and then sit and watch firework! It had to seem like a PERFECT night to you! Although I imagine the actual giving birth part can't be too enjoyable

I remember holding Kaisha (all 8 lb 10 oz of her) and feeling so relaxed... (drugs again, I'm sure helped) but I said to her "welcome to the world, little girl".....
