Four cop cars with their lights flashing and a paramedics in front of my house right now.

Either something HUGE is going on or it's a slow night in West Allis and the cops are just all responding for something to do

Whoa, something big is going on.

There's people running, an ambulance is up by that bar up the block, there's some goofy looking police vehicle blocking my street, there's four cop cars with their lights on in front of my house, a paramedic with it's light on that they just took some young kid into and another two cop cars parked on the side of the block with their lights off.

holy crap, I'd go mess with my police scanner, but I know west allis uses a trunked frequency, which takes a bit of messin around with to hone in on......if I weren't so tired, I'd try. maybe it will be in the papers tomorrow. they're not making you duck or anything are they????

This is what I can make out so far.

It looks like an unmarked cop car pulled over a red car right on my street.

The person from that red car went into the ambulance.

There's got to be four sets of cops scattered around talking to people, and a couple of them are searching the ground with a flash light. In fact, he's on my lawn right now.

But then again South Dakota sounds even less safe to me now!

Perhaps I'll become a neighbor of Webs. Nothing to fear there except for the cow farts. Atleast that's what I assume Web will blame the smell on

I know

I didn't make my choice of places to live without doing a lot of research.

You know how I first put South Dakota on my short list? I searched for states that had no sales tax. Next was crime-rate and next was population density. Next came housing rates.

I wound up with only one choice and that was South Dakota. Add the gambling and the beauty of the Black Hills and I was hooked.

But I had a file about four inches thick of statistics on the state by the time I was done.

Once I narrowed it down to SD then I started looking at weather patterns and realized if I wanted to live there it would need to be the southwestern most tip of the state.

I'm nothing if not thorough

Or wait, maybe I'm confused (it's been five years since I did all this research), is it that you have no sales tax or no state income tax? I know it's one or the other.

A lot of them turned their lights off now. Only one still has em going. Down to four cop cars and an ambulance.

Looks like they took the red car away too.

They're still talking to two groups of people.
