I do not want any congratulations

I have just passed 11,000 posts.

PLEASE DO NOT CONGRATULATE ME ON THIS "ACHEIVMENT"

It took me exactly 7 days and 23 hours to do 1000 posts.

This is NOT something to be rewarded, it is something to be concerned about. Clearly I am out of control and may need some of you to host an intervention.

I normally don't!

It took me 18 months to get to 6500, now I've done 4500 in three months. I'll slow down again eventually.

DON'T get me started Dave

But you know what? I was GLAD when they made Howard Dean the chariman of the DNC. EXCELLENT! Put your most extreme nut job at the helm, COOL!

Now Lamont, as extreme left as you can get, is your choice in Conneticut. COOL!

Every step they take just alienates them more and more from middle America. From the working class Joe they once represented fairly well.

They're expecting this sweeping change in '08. I believe with all my heart they are going to find out that nothing will change. They may LOSE seats.

I could see Joe Liebermann really winning this fall.  He seems to be a good mix of purple.  Half blue and half red.  I'd possibly swing and I haven't voted for a democrat in any election since I got my card 20 years ago.

Yeah, he's a good guy that votes his heart not just the party line.

He's probably better off as an Independent.

lol. I know LS. It doesn't directly affect us. I'm just having trouble figuring out the Democratic party.

Look, the way I see it is our country and our entire political system is at it's best when BOTH the Democrats and the Republicans are at the top of their game, giving us the checks and balances we need.

I don't want the country to go to the extreme right, and I don't want it to go to the extreme left.

The danger we have now is that with the Dems splashing around drowning in their own stupidity (most of them, not all of them) the country is shifting too far to the right by default.

We need the Dems to center themselves again and add something to the process, as opposed to simply going on and on about how everything sucks and they could do it better.

John Kerry is the worst. He actually claimed the conflict in Israel wouldn't be happening if he were President. My goodness what I would give to have that clear of a vision of what "would have been". I can't tell for sure what's going to happen tomorrow but this guy thinks he can tell that the world would all be holding hands and singing Kumbaya if only he'd won the election.

Never mind that he hasn't explained WHY that would be the case. Never mind that his votes and flip flops were a part of why we got into the mess. It would all be better if he were President.

That's a pretty easy claim to make, it's just as hard to disprove as it is to prove

Hey JR-  Did you hear any of the Mike Wallace preview from his interview with Iran's President?  It's going to be on 60 minutes this weekend.  Anyway, he evidently swallowed every bit of bull the ist fed him hook, line, and sinker.  MW is going around telling us what an intelligent, caring, REASONABLE, person he is.  I can't believe it.  Who'd have thunk the US Media would become Hezbollah's biggest propaganda outlet!!

Oh yeah- I heard a great call come in on Rush's show yesterday.  The guy said, "Do you think the media would be treating John McCain the way they are Joe Liebermann had he just lost a primary?"  Answer- NO WAY!!!!  They'd be praising John for sticking to his beliefs and being willing to separate from his party to do it.  Joe, on the other hand, is being slammed by the media accusing him of being greedy and a sore loser and out to split the dems votes.

PS:  I hope Joe wins.  It's the only way I'll continue to hear the little space man from the Warner brother cartoon's voice.  (You know the one I mean, Roman helmet, green skirt, red tights).  "Peace Earthlings"!!

Uncongrats to you, Mr. Riggs. I wonder what made you go that extra mile lately? Something in the water in WI? Is your family worried about you yet?

Bah, the family was worried about me for years already. I'm not sure why I'm so blabby lately.

Alf's Dad.  I can hear it!!  Personalities are similar too.  I like Joe but he's definitely not Mr. Pizzazz.  He and Al were very similar that way.

Gore. That guy had the personality of a door stop.

You know what's odd though, he was on SNL and he was FUNNY! As a politician he has zero charisma, but I swear on SNL I thought "hey, he aint' so bad"

He always came across too fake.  His hair was too stiff, his smile was stiff, his voice was stiff.  Let's face it, the man himself was/ is a STIFF.  And Kerry is of the same mold.  OH yeah, I'll add I think they full of bull too.  Al and his internet and Kerry with his Vietnam heroics.  crap, crap, crap!!

I'll take good ole boy GW any day of the week.  I don't care if he can't pronounce every ist's name correctly or get through a speech without a faux paux.  Doesn't bother me one ounce.  I'll take that man and his convictions ANY time.

Saying you don't want any congratulations in your topic while flaunting those high @s is just asking for it! You are a tease, aren't you.

By the way, how did that punching bag work for you today? Right now I'm just online applying for jobs.....always fun

That's the ONE thing I hope history takes away from GW. I understand you may not like him, I understand you may disagree with his philosophies. That's fine. But he NEVER waffles. He has his beleifs and he sticks to them. The polls do not concern him, because he knows he has ALL the information while the people being polled have probably 2% of it. They're in no position to make decisions.
