Not blue, greenish brown. Kind of like the color you get in the gutter at spring when last years leaves that were frozen all winter have started to thaw and decay and they're a goey brown/green mush
We have a friend in Lincoln that works for the University in the electronics shop.
They used to have a government contract to build a probe that they took to Greenland every year. This probe would melt its way down through the ice cap and take samples and readings and send the data back to the surface. This data was used to measure changes in the ice cap over the years for global warming, etc.
When he would go there, it was a big deal. A big Hercules plane with skis would land on the ice cap and drop them off. They had to quickly unload the plane so it could take off again before the skis froze to the ice. Unless there was anything but a life/death situation, they would be there for the scheduled time (about a week) living in tents in sub zero weather until the plane would come back to pick them up.
Anyway, when we still lived there, he was preparing to leave on one of these trips and my wife decided to have him (single guy) over for a nice big home cooked meal and to say goodbye. Just for fun, she made everything green (Greenland). Mashed potatoes, ice water, jello, etc, were all green. We were eating away and we both kept looking at each other wondering when he'd finally say something about all the green food.
Finally, we couldn't take it any longer and asked him what he thought about the food. He said "Its great, why?" . . . then it hit me and I remembered that he's color blind and he had no clue it was all green. lol
