Great Music Night!!

Actually I was not tuned into the station this eveining. I was test driving new cds for my shows on sunday night. I have spent the better part of this evening with the music of Isaac Hayes, P-Funk All Stars, early Simple Minds ( Sparkle in the Rain) (AWESOME!!!) some brilliant Keb' Mo', and the OJAYS. A LOT of this stuff will be request-list worthy. but even more of this will be featured on Underground 80s and Jazz 101 in the coming weeks. I must share the joy.

You've got to hear some of this!!! my god its 1 am on a friday morning and I am just goin nuts about sunday's broadcast already. Isaac Hayes!!! the OJAYS! & this simple minds is right before they hit big with "Don't you forget about me"- and it is SOOO BRILLIANT. Bring two pairs of boots, cuz I am going to knock you off your feet with this music. and trish is going to steal your boots!

JD, you GOTTA spend some time looking at our CD catalog. We had SPARKLE IN THE RAIN. Ill bet you could find dozens of gems you didn't know we had!

WTH? I was here for most of Jazz 101 and after that. The week before I was at work and tuned in until I went home and tuned in as soon as I got home. I have been here more than not.

hey man, like we should NOT have categories that go JKL-MNO and the next be NOP-QRS.....as and example, and not a biggie.....but man I needs that simple minds cd for und 80s pronto!
