Does JD have his JD? Hey, Riggs- do I have permission to multi-task again?

If you MUST. But we prefer to have your FULL attention!

You do.  But I  must admit that I am also applying for a job online right now. I wonder if the employer who gets my email will find it strange that I'm emailing my resume to them at 1:00 am. Should I wait until tomorrow? It's hard to do anything online during the day with a baby. That's why its easy for me to blab on here at night.

Nah! Send it off. They aren't gonna think that's strange.

Hey, why are you looking to leave your job at the eatright.org place?

Well, I've been there for 7 years and I think its just kinda wearing on me. I hate being in a cubicle next to crazy people. I also hate when the phone won't stop ringing and I can't get anything done. People are catty- while my boss is supercool and most people there are nice, I am sandwiched between two of the craziest women in the place. I don't know, Riggs, I just want out. Plus, I think they'd let me work from home on a part time seasonal basis if I left anyway. The only thing I'd miss would be the travel but I might still be able to do that for them as a consultant. Who knows. Life is too short to be unhappy though.

Absolutely! We don't now how much time we have. You could find out you have a disease like cancer tomorrow. You can't waste time in situations you're not happy with! Good luck finding something!

It sounds like you've been churning out the resumes pretty hard, so I'm sure something will turn up soon.

THanks. Change is so scary, though. I'm pretty comfortable where I'm at. I have an easy commute on the train to work (30 minutes) and work right accross the street from Union Station. But the thought of staying there until I'm old and gray scares me, too. I also wanted to go parttime since Savannah was born last year but I haven't seen anything worht doing partime. If it was a decent part time job,I'd be fine but no way am I working part time for crap.
