OVER WATER ?

A nice brawl ensued in my town yesterday. Right smack in the middle of rich -ville development.

A bunch (25-40 )of mexicans who were working with scaffleing got into a fight with a group ( 6-8 )  electricians on a job site . This is how it went down .

The electricians retrieve 2 water jugs from the general contractors office every day . After having to fill them twice already ( the mexes drank most of it )the elec.s said " no more water for you " .  It escalated into a pretty serious fight with the mexes wielding pipes and using them !  ( against the women electrician too ) sending an 18 year old to hospital ( he got jump by a dozen guys ) .

By the time the cops got there most of the mexes  had left with few returning today ( those guys probly staid out of it ).  No arrests have been made.

What wasn't made clear was this ( most important part ) ( in my eyes anyway ) - Did the water jugs belong to the General contractor or did the electrician own them and store the jugs on site ?

Either way , as much as I hate greasers I can't imagine denying them a drink of water.  It was near 95 yesterday.

If they were my jugs I would have told them fine , but you send your man to refill them and try to have your own tomorrow.

Had they been the General Contractors jugs then I would have no bitch at all cause they ain't mine to start with.

Think people here are getting a little tired of the onslaught of mexicans  ?

Also- damn nice of the scaffolding co. to send fifty guys to a job in the middle of summer without a water jug. damn smart of the mexes not to think about either.

thats really pathetic...no matter whose water jug it is you have to take care of your employees. Make sure they are ok to work in 95 degrees. Personally if I were working like that, I would take my own everyday.
