Sitting here watching TV.

A Hoveround powered wheel chair commercial came on.

Everyone in the chair is strapped in with a seatbelt.

Is the Hoveround such a wild machine that you really need a seatbelt?

Why not a helmet too?

Hmm, you'd have to be moving at a pretty good clip to need to be seatbelted into a wheel chair!

Aaaaaaah Yes, the Jeremy Dollars. I think she still has around $2000 saved up in them. Unfortunately EVERY time she got close to having enough to buy something there were price mark-ups Darn inflation

my favorite bartender, ron, from back in the day, at larry and eds steak-n-stein-and then later, gaslight west, had a rule for me when I was about erica's age. 3 strikes jd, and you're out.


all this meant was that if my head hit the bar 3 times, I'm out. he made the rules easy. we agreed to this on my 21rst birthday. he was the first bartender to serve me my first legal beer in a bar. he was the same bartender that served my dad when I was a little kid and we would go there sunday afternoons for packer games. I got kiddie coctails all afternoon and a roll of quarters for the pinball.


my head hit the bar 2x plenty of times. but I never let ron ever see me hit three.


I am exhausted. long week. so far this evening, i've discovered that my keyboard tastes like keyboard 2x. in memory of ron, my head will not hit the keyboard a 3rd time.

Web mentioned you guys should meet up with him somewhere between the two of you. Have you given any thought to that? You guys are not far apart at all!!! You could let the folks watch A and you and Spark could meet Web and Mrs. Web.

While you're doing that I'll stay here and plan the REST of your vacation for you
