Top Broken Heart- Break-up Songs

Songs can bring out many emotions...from pure happiness to heartbreak.  Just curious what everyone thinks is the ultimate heart-break song? Which song-- or songs--  makes you feel the pain of a broken heart- even if you don't currently have one? Is there a song that makes you remember a high school or college break up like it was yesterday?  Please share!

Ooooooh, good question. I'm multi-tasking but I'll be back to think about this one.

I'm a big sap when it comes to these kinds of songs :) Off the top of my head I know AGAINST ALL ODDS would make my short list because I just heard that one last week.

Of course, the ultimate may be "He Stopped Loving Her Today" written by the late great Harlan Howard...


I think country music really might have an 'up' in this category.

Oh man- "I Saw Red" by Warrant.  Amazing broken heart/break-up song.  Every time I hear it, it rips out my heart, throws it on the ground, then runs over it a few times with a golf cart.
