I think one more will be in the works but not anytime real soon. We'll see if God grants us that in another year or so. It must've felt like a whole new experience the 2ndtime, right? 11 years later? what was that like?

It has been everything I wanted. The first one I was young, 22, no education past high school and his dad and I were not married and he was not the marrying type. I was very broke when I left him, but I put myseld through school and made a better life for myself. This time it is a very happy time- we just love her and spoil her rotten. I am really enjoying her and the older ones help a bunch!

but last year we went through the terrible twos and the first year of being teen! And I know that for the next 20+ years one of them will be in school and here!

The hubby is making his first trip to a Nascar race w/ a neighbor.  He's at Bristol so we're planning a 's day. 


Getting ready to make an ATM withdrawal and head to Nashville's monthly flea market.  After that we're going to a new store called Steve and Barry's.  From their website it appears they are a chain.  It's a clothing store where EVERYTHING is $7.98.  It says they have khakis, polos, button downs, jeans, jackets, T's, and shorts.  From the store front though it looks like they specialize in sportswear.  We'll see... 


Tonight, the little one's violin teacher has scheduled her students to perform at one of the local ice-cream shops.  I'll be thinking of JD when the bluegrass is pouring forth. 


Afterwards, I'll head home to see how the Titan's preseason game against the Falcons is going.  Our first round draft pick from '06 is Pacman Jones.  He's been in trouble ever since he got here to Nashville.  Thursday night he got arrested for disorderly conduct and publix intox at an area bar.  So... he's been sidelined from the game.  Hopefully, the rest of the players will pick up the slack and bring us our first win.  Even if it is pre-season, it is deflating to lose.  We need a win under our belt to get some confidence going.

I'm working at the shop today.  Didn't have any major plans for tomorrow which is just as well.  My 18 yr old cat passed away last night.  I'm pretty sad about it. Wouldn't be up for much anyway.

Sorry to hear about your cat, Mema. I was crushed when my 8 month old kitten passed away, I don't know what I'll do when my two current babies go. At least you gave him/her a good home and a happy life.

just got back from the library and the farmers market- a bunch of fun stuff for jazz and college daze tomorrow night! Also picked up some potatoes, sweet peppers, pickles, and a loaf of amish made dill-cheese bread that I am about to get a hunk of!


then I think a walk in the glen might be nice if the rain holds off.....maybe fire up the grill for dinner too. Nice day.

saw 4 deer in the glen! I think the hot weather a few weeks ago chased them out of there, but they are back! I followed the tracks and sure enough a doe and 3 fawns about 50 feet up! that's my deer hunting right there- deer spotting.

allycat is right- blackberry brandy, I'd add a hint of honey & cinnamin, maybe a pat of butter and then get this to a rolling boil on the stove. Pour it in a mug and drink up! You won't wake up until monday morning, but you will get your well-needed rest!
