Roseanne and/or Three's Company fans?

if you like either of these sitcoms, DeepDiscountDVD is currently having a "buy one, get one free" special on both of them.   This means you can get seven seasons of Three's Company (DDD sells seasons 1/2 together, all that's not released is the last season, which comes in Oct) for $75!!!   You also can get the first four seasons of Roseanne for just under $42.    These are both fantastic bargains for two great sitcoms so I figured I may as well pass it on if there was anyone here who liked either show but was putting getting the sets off in case a great sale happened one of these days.   This is that great sale :)

Not a big fan of either show.  Roseanne annoyed me, and her kids did too.  Though growing up I thought it was cool someone on a TV show had the same name as me. "Darlene", and one of Roseanne's kids had that name.

3's Company was annoying.  I absolutely hated Mr. and Mrs. Roper....

The sad thing about these 2 shows, is I am saying I hated them, but I am spewing off different facts and noting all the cast members...... so evidently I watched them.

Thanks for sharing. I have not started buying DVDs like that, but I hate tv anymore.

hubby watches Three's Company sometimes on TVland. I always like that show. I watched Roseanne for awhile but after awhile it got on my nerves.

the early Roseanne seasons were enjoyable to me, but I don't think the show really reached the top of the mountain until around the time Becky moved out of the house and Darlene and DJ were getting older.   The fifth and sixth seasons of that show are up there with some of the best sitcom seasons ever (same with seasons 3-6 of Seinfeld).   I like the early seasons and the later seasons, but those mid years from 91-94 were the best.  Especially the 2-parter where Jackie's boyfriend beats her, the episode where Roseanne and Jackie's father dies, the episode where they smoke pot, and the one about DJ masturbating.   Some great freaking stuff in those episodes.   Easily my #2 favorite show of all time, I never grow sick of watching Roseanne even tho it's on Nick 200 times a week and I have the DVD's of 1-4 so far.

I agree ANF that Roseanne rocked- she was not afraid to confront the world with REAL family problems. They actually were pretty good parents.
