What is your poison? I like margaritas, and fruity type drinks. Can drink wine, but do not like to much anymore and have not had a beer since I was 15.

I guess it all depends where I'm at and what's there. Where I'm going tomorrow, I'll probably have something to eat and then either a few ciders (I like Hardcore Cider or Woodchuck- any cider) or maybe a long island iced tea.

I haven't had beer in a long time but when I do, I love MGD. I love beer at a Cubs or Sox game or on a hot summer day at a party.

Whenever available, I will get a MOJITO. And you?

Reread my post! It's okay- it is late! What is a mojito? I think you and JD mentioned one time- some kind of mint drink?

Mojito

Ingredients:

Mixing instructions:

Lightly muddle the mint and sugar with a splash of soda water in a mixing glass until the sugar dissolve and you smell the mint. Squeeze the lime into the glass, add rum and shake with ice. Strain over cracked ice in a highball glass. Top with soda water, garnish with mint sprig and serve

MInt juleps are too strong for me. Maybe it was too strong becuase all i had in it was mint and whiskey! was I forgetting something?

JD- what's with your fascination with New Orleans? Is it the music or did you once live there? I know you've been there, right?

I was there last year in may/june cheese- just a couple of months before katrina, and I just fell in love with the place. I actually mulled around the idea of moving down there- just a different pace of life all together. every local I met was sooo nice and happy. We were walking around and were sort of lost, and a nice lady local pointed us out the directions to where we wanted to go. chatty folks, "where ya from?...and one of her favorite bands was a milwaukee band that played new orleans regularly..." On burbon street, I accidently bumped into some folks leaving their house (right at the sidewalk as I was looking up at some flowers and iron work on a balcony.) in milwaukee, in the wrong neighborhood, that'd be open season for a fight. There it was a good reason for a laugh and a handshake and small talk.  The houses are beautiful, the history is rich, and it was a happy and proud town.
