JD heads to a Brewer Game

You gonna be there to watch them achieve their longest losing streak of the season JD

Unbelievable. 10 days ago they sweep the Rockies and are 4.5 out of the wild card, only 5.5 out of the division lead.

I TOLD Erica they'd go to Florida and blow it, but I never thought they'd dump 8 straight! 11.5 games out, season over. NO FRIGGIN HEART in that ballclub. But atleast the beers will be cold and the brats will be hot! They never let us down!

I am really just interested in 2 things- to see Sheets throw again, see how he does, and then its Robin Yount bobble-head day too- got to get me one of them!

I haven't gone to a game all year, it'll be good to just go check out the stadium too. I couldn't agree with you more tho on the team as a whole. Another year of reading in the paper "Yost's job not in jeapordy..."

Oh man, Yount Bobble head day, I'm bet they saved that for late in the season when the team was in the crapper. That was probably the plan all along

We've suffered through 20 plus years of bad baseball. It's still great to be out there in the fresh air watching the game be played.

Back in the day when playoff games weren't even televised!

I Remember playing strikeout in my cousins alley with him during one of the games, and every so often his dad would come out and yell to us "Top of the 6'th, brewers just scored, they lead 3-2" Very good times.

I also remember during that one game playoff with the Yankees in '81 swiping my dads transister radio and smuggling it into school. Went the whole second half of the day with one earpiece in listening to the game istead of the teacher

aw man, strike out! loved that! bet me and a couple of buddies must have spent 3 summers in gradeschool doing nothing else but playing strike out at the park and at the school playground! In fact our gym teacher would get a softball game going, but then take me and my buddies over the the strike out box so he could play too!

man, every kid loved the brewers and all things baseball back then!

I know, I miss those days

The Brewers were IT and the Packer were the b*stard child of the state

McDonalds would give away Brewers glasses as a promotion, there were flags all over town. The whole Webb's predicts thing. It was such a neat time.

And this town is on the cusp of exploding like that again for these lamos if they would just pull their head out of their a**es and stop screwing it up! They can start by not losing quality players like Carlos under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

We're gonna have 2.5 million plus fans again this year to watch a team finish fourth and well under five hundred! ten years ago we were having trouble hitting one million fans. We're doing our part, they need to do a better job of doing theirs. Ownership, Management, AND PLAYERS!

yea its like it all fell to crap, like losing Lee took the steam out of the team. LOL I am almost positive my folks still have them brewers glasses! I still remember the day of getting those! we wanted the set of 4, but the folks didn't want sodas. The Mcdonald lady goes their 99 cents with soda, $2 without soda (or whatever the price was)...so I told my dad, "you can't argue the math there, you and ma are gettin sodas....." no argument, 4 sodas, 4 brewers glasses..
