Sorry I missed you Sparky. I hope you're not going to tell me I'm gonna blow up

The only other gas appliance that I have is the dryer. The stove is electric. Of course the heat is gas, but that's not on right now anyway.

I'm pretty sure I got the right valve, after Ally sent the schematic I went and took another look and there doesn't seem to be any other pipes attached that could be the gas.

Yeah JD, Mom's only a few blocks away. Thanks tho!

I just washed my hair this morning using cold water and oh my God I thought I was gonna give myself hypothermia!

I spoke to the landlady, a normal repair of this would run about $750 but they were gonna charge her over a grand to come out during the holiday weekend. I told her I'd suffer through it. She did offer to pay for a hotel room for me if I wanted but I said it wasn't necessary.

This stuff always seems to happen on the holiday weekends.

Happy Sunday - what's left of it lol


Poor Riggs...we all know penguins like their water cold...you'll be fine


The kids wore me out today lol... We walked to the Pleasure Beach to ride the Log Flume as it is being knocked down after today to make way for a new ride. It's 40 years old and a favourite all round...So we rode that and I got a good soaking...



then we sent the kids on a few more rides..then wandered off for freshly made hot sugared doughnuts...



Then we strolled off for ice cream sundaes:


 


Then eventually we made it home for tea...


Then we went out again...walking again this time up to the beach to watch a massive firework display off our North Pier...where over the next 4 weeks the World Championship firework Display Competition is being held...tonight was the Croatian entry...



We then traipsed back home, via a seafood stall ...oh and another hot doughnut stall,


Then I had to iron a couple of things and make some sandwiches for Browni for school...so now I am having a well earned sit down before bed

Sounds like fun! Is it in an amusement park? Do you have amusements there? I love to go to amusement parks, as does the rest of my family- we try to do something like that every year!

Howdy...we went to lunch a place called Shooters...sportsbar type place...but casual and no smoking. Spent the afternoon shopping and cooked dinner at my parents house. Nothing much special...just chilled. How was your day?

Nope. Never dropped. I couldn't make the switch on computers because it turned out the new computer has seperate controls for each of the microphones, so only one could be on at a time.

I'll have to wait for the switch until the mixing board arrives

I work next sunday..I will miss Riggs show..but I should be home in time for yours.


 


oh and since he never answered the question about switching the computer...no he has to wait for the mixing board..something about the mic jacks.
