Morning all, well actually almost good afternoon.  I'm working also today.  AT the golf course.  Lots of people out there playing right now.  No cart today, but they'll all be thirsty once they are done 18!!

I've had a couple jobs in the past where I had to work the holidays, it really used to make me angry. One of my jobs I even worked four straight Thanksgiving days, 12 hour shifts. That REALLY stunk!

I never got to the video store Darlene

There's so much available with cable and the DVD's I have that I hardly ever think to go to the video store and rent something.

This weekend I bought the final season of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, so that's been my main viewing. In fact I just finished it up last night.

Perhaps next weekend I'll rent the Kill Bills. I want to watch them together. I don't have the patience to watch one and then wait til the next weekend to watch the other

I tried to yesterday, only got my two feet wet when I said NUH UH!!!

It's one thing to take a cool shower, but when it's JUST COLD WATER that's brutal.

Hey, I've been DYING to ask you about this. I think I mentioned it once before but It was lost in a bigger messsage to you.

Ever since I started trading on Scottrade I get emails a couple times a day pushing certain stocks. They'll say things like "We got a runner, this stock has a target price of $1.50 a share by Tuesday, it opens Monday at $1.15"

I check them out the stock is real, I've never paid attention to how they do, I figure they're just a scam.

But I was wondering have you ever heard of this type of thing?

I was thinking, if some guy buys say 10,000 shares of a stock at $1.00, maybe it's crappy stock that never really saw a much higher point. But then over the weekend he emails out 1,000,000 spam emails to investors saying this stock is about to explode. If even one half of one percent of them bought it on Monday it WOULD go up and he could make a killing.

Have you ever heard of these emails? Is that the scam?

Yes those E-mails are a big big scam! If you notice most of what they are offering are companies you have never heard of. If it was from Scott themselves I wouldn't worry about it.


As for the honeydue list, I have no other time to do it!

Yeah, I figured as much.

My favorite ones are where the email appears to have been intended for someone else, and it starts out like this...

Hey Jennifer, sorry it took so long to get back to you but there's still time. That stock I told you about is set to explode on Tuesday so I'd invest as much as you can afford to. It's gonna be huge!

Remember, don't tell anyone about this please! It's information I'm not supposed to have

OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT

Now who's dumb enough to think "Oh my! What luck, I accidentally received an email intended for someone else and it has a HUGE stock tip in it!"

Again, i can talk tougher since I have somewhere in the neighborhood of a 700 - 800 mile safety zone.

Worst I'd get is a

Just stopping in here before I finish getting ready to go back out shopping. Today shouldn't be so bad though. just got to pick up a few items. The festival was cool, although we missed our shows. One guy that we really liked wasn't there this year and the other we only caught the end of the show. We are all very sore today! We had the lawn work followed by walking at the festival to going shopping after we dropped everyone else off! It was a LONG day! Have a good rest of the day!
