Riggs - You actually like the radio edit better of the 1987 version!?  Too wimpy - too keyboardy.  Too unlike Whitesnakey 


P.S. - Have you ever heard the original version from the 1982 album "Saints & Sinners" ?

LS,

Never heard the original, only the one from the Whitesnake album and then the radio edit. I just like the lead in a lot more on the radio edit. That instant driving sound as opposed to the quiet open slowing building.

I'll have to give a listen to the original some time.

My favorite WS song is "Still of the Night"- I still have a Whitesnake t-shirt I wore a lot in the summer of 88. I had a Whitesnake poster, too.

What do you all think of the album they put out in 1990- slip of the tongue? Deeper the Love is the best song off there for me.
