Boogers are those squishy things in your nostrils that appear during interviews and dates. They're not pretty, but they are necessary.
Boogers "happen" when your nasal mucus combines with dirt and debris you breathe during the day. Mucus (aka "snot") prevents the dirt from reaching your lungs. Without it, infections would be far more common.
So, long and disgusting story short, the mucus eventually dries around the dirt and debris and -- voilą! -- a beautiful new booger is formed. Consider this the ideal time to bust out the hankie, tissue, or sleeve, then blow.
Today I learned to be wary when reading threads I'm not sure about. I was eating my lunch and reading about boogers!
Yesterday I learned that if you don't change the setting from data cd to audio cd in Itunes, that it wastes a perfectly good cd when trying to burn an audio cd!

Woo, did you know that on an average there are 12 boogers accidentally dropped into fast food every year? This isn't including the ones that are placed there on purpose!

I learned the booger section of this thread is just as bad the 2nd time around. That's what I get for trying to recycle a thread! At least I was already done with lunch this time!

At first I thought this was an excellent idea, but reading through it, it could be called the "Ewww" thread just as easily!
