Morning all....well ok I know some of you have just gotten off to sleep but such is the nature of the globe, it's getting up time here...(despite no work lol)
No major plans today...Mark has took the car to his second job, the kids are at their dad's, (my youngest is safely back in the family fold after her trip away with school) and all is well. I may paint a window frame and I may cut the hedge out front and I may do the evergrowing pile of ironing...
Please note the word "may" is the important word there...
Have a great day everybody.....right back to catching up with these threads
Hey Pip, I just finished up paying some bills online and was gonna head up to bed. But I saw you were here and figured I JUST HAAAAAAAAAAVE to say hello!
Awwwwwwwwww Pip. You just became one of my favorite people Young sir. I know it ain't accurate but it still feels good
I'm good. I'm a bit jazzed up right now and think I'm gonna have trouble sleeping. I was hoping to be really tired but I got a second wind after I showered a while ago.
Thanks Pip! Don't go too heavy on them though! I'm hoping to be up in four hours to go for nice walk in the fresh morning air! (don't tell CP, but I also wanna buy a bunch of stuff at Wal-Mart before they get too crowded)
We have a shop here calle Asda and WalMart bought it a few years ago now...I like it in some ways (the prices lol) but I am refusing to go in these days...they annoy me too
Good morning all... good evening to you, Pip! Its a rainy morning in good ol' Kansas. Hoping for a good day here at the shop. I got some good sleep last night, so I'm ready for a busy day.

I'm good. It was a very busy week for me at my "real job". Kevin took me out last Saturday after work and got me a new kitten to lift my spirits. The new kid's name is Eddie. He's about 9 weeks old, gray, black, and tan tabby with whit chin, tummy, and feet. He's going to be a lap cat...can tell already. And in a total surprise, he also bought me a very belated b-day present... a wedding band. He never bought me one before, so it's kind of odd that all of a sudden this bothered him, but what the heck? It was nice of him.

I'm apparently a much happier person when I have a "love of my life" as my friend Doug calls it. Eddie has worked wonders for my disposition. He's just so darn excited to see me. Can't help but get happy over a purring little fuzz ball.

Hi everyone. I have to work later on today. I am doing a wedding reception at the golf course. (another one bites the dust)......
You DJ's will appreciate this game I play when 2 bartenders work wedding receptions... this is how it goes. I write down 5 songs that I know will be played at the reception, the other bartender writes down 5 songs that he thinks will be played, and as they are played we scratch the songs off. First one to get all 5 scratched off gets $20 from the other bartender. It makes for a fun night.....
And as you know, all wedding DJ's play the same songs, wedding, after wedding, after wedding.
I'm looking into buying mobile DJing equipment and starting to do that as a side project. I might have to contact you and find out what some of those songs are because I don't have a clue! I can guess on a few, but could use some guidance!
I used to date a guy who did that on the side..... guess what Riggs?? He left all his wedding CD's when he left me... I still have them. They were all burnt CD's so if you want them I'll send them to you. Every wedding song possibly imaginable on them. You'll just have to listen to them all, because the song book is missing...... but they're yours if you want them.
Do you know what those guys can earn in a single night?!?!?! I've been looking into the cost of equipment for a few months now and was hoping to purchase everything after the new year (ya know, new tax season and all).
I WOULD LOVE IT if you'd let me have those! Just let me know how many there are and I'll send you some ca$h for shipping and a little surprise for being so FRIGGIN' COOL!!!
It's ANOTHER Freeze-Frame Miracle!!! (I've really been pushing this Freeze-Frame miracle idea but so far it hasn't taken off )
I slept in a little this morning, that felt good. Now, I'm doing my normal Saturday morning server stuff, copying backup files to another off-site server, etc.
I'll have to go check on the van after while. The back door wouldn't open. The shop was going to see if they could get the necessary part overnight and fix it this morning.
The Huskers play at 12:30 today but its not on TV so we'll be limited to radio for this one.
Its going to be cool today with a chance of rain. Rain would be good. Radar looks like we might have coming this way.
I'll go thru what I have this weekend Riggs as far as the CD's....just remember, once you have them, they are all numbered..... and no song titles to go along with them, so you'll have to sort out what is there on your own. There are probably about 75 CD's........ I'll PM you early part of next week, and we'll work out the details. You can have them take them off my hands. I'm glad to give them to someone who appreciates them, or can use them.
