It's a boy so a bunch of baby blue stuff- stuff for the bath and lots of booties. Blue is refreshing cuz I have so much pink around here.

At least the jerks tipped well. I get paid to get yelled at on the phone a little too often....what we all put up with for money, right?

I am having a nice quiet evening at home. I have some old underground 80s cds that I am listening to- deciding which ones are keepers and which ones are sleepers. I was researching Amish history and culture online, and will move on to Moslems next. I had a busy day of running around shopping, and stopped by an old coffee house that I used to hang at for their still delicious veggie chili and a few cups of joe!

I went to the green market today and had a snack of amish cheese bread, farmer-packed dill pickles and some pepper-jack cheese that is just extraordinary!

That sounded like a nice day. Like the sound of Amish bread...could've used that today. I've been following my diet good up until lately. I had a bug handful of M&Ms just now with my mini bottle of Merlot (you know those really tiny bottles that come in a 4-pack?).....

I did a lot of running around, finally bought some nice sheets for my bed. A couple people on the forum were telling me when I was having trouble sleeping I needed some high-thread count sheets, so I finally coughed up the cash and got some 300 thread count sheets. I think it was recommended I get atleast 400 count, but this was the best Walmart had. So I'm excited to see if I notice a difference tonight.

Went for a nice long walk in the cemetary. They really should put me on the payroll there. In the last two weeks I noticed some suspicious activity going on in the back corner. I've pointed out that lights were out (only on my fathers crypt, but I COULD point out the rest ), I've been picking up some of the bigger trash as I walk and dumping it in the garbage cans (they have trash bins every 300 feet yet people just can't put in the effort to get it there ), and last week I was turning off the water spigits because some numbnut had turned half of them on full blast and sections of the grounds were getting flooded.

I could be their weekend grounds supervisor

After that I hit the bookstore for a bit, and "Bed, Bath & Beyond" (please give me no grief, they have cool kitchen gizmo's )

Now I'm working on cleaning off my desk and doing some research for some projects I'm working on.

All in all a good Saturday. OH, and the first real FALL-LIKE day around here. During that walk I was thinking I should have brought a light jacket, it was overcast and cool all day!

cheese I love them 4 packs like that! so does Mzhartz! we agree that doggone it, once a bottle of wine is popped open, you gotta finish it, and if no one else is in a wine mood, well you are olbigated to finish the bottle. you don't always want a whole bottle, just a glass or two.... so them 4 packs rock!

oh ya- those 4 packs are handy. i also think a big ole bottle of wine  loses its flavor faster than i can drink it. 4 packs are the way to go.....right now i'm nursing a little Sutter Home 2004 CA Merlot. Not bad at all.

Where's MZ been lately?

We just got home, picked AC up from work at 6 went over to her folks for dinner. I helped my folks finish there bathroom, we put a new tub surround in and of course nothing ever fits right so had to do a lot of widgiting.

Riggs, you have to wash the sheets at least 4 times to make em soft. So don't be suprised if they are still a bit scratchy. I bought AC some 400 thread count sheets from JC Penny's a while back and it sure makes a difference.

I know she is really involved with different cool projects....making dresses, she does really cool painting.....perhaps she is practicing along with the tai chi video I sent her?.... or maybe just quality time with her hubby.

FOUR TIMES I better crank up the washing machine and see if I can get that in before bed!

all this underwear  and lunchbox talk is making me tired.   (not that working 7 hours at a drunkfest wedding had anything to do with it)  so I am off to bed.  It's almost midnight, and I have to work again at the golf course at 11AM tomorrow.  So I'll be back then.....have a good night guys and girls.

Technically it's no longer Saturday night. Still feels like it. I'm not ready for Sunday yet.  Does anyone know the ultimate Satrurday night party song?

Actually, I was sleeping. I've got a bit of a cold that I'm trying to get over.

But I am good at overcommitting myself. I really need to get some work done on my friend's wedding dress. But I have to clean all the painting stuff off the table first. I didn't do all my chores yesterday (I fell asleep instead). And my VCR decided not to work anymore, so I haven't gotten to check out that video yet JD. But, I did sign up for a Tai Chi class at the Y that starts tomorrow.

Mz let me know if you like the class!

I went to a few lessons that this guy at my old job taught, but it was too hard; I got started about 9 months after he was teaching the rest of the folks and I just had to follow along the best I could. I didn't want to slow down their progress so I stopped going.

Tomorrow night will be the first class of the beginner class. It's also supposed to show different forms of Tai Chi. I've never really done it before, so I'm kind of nervous.

Uh, I think the ultimate Saturday night party song is actually none other than "High n Dry (Saturday Night)" !  Love the thread's title, Cheese.
