lol...you are always happy. I was telling a customer of mine about your ability to see the happy side of anything tonight...he looked at me like I was nuts. He was one of those people that see's the worst in everything.

I bet that dude would say he's a REALIST.  That's what I always say.  Yeah, I get donked on my reviews at work cuz I don't have a positive attitude.  My boss is so positive that she's almost a cheerleader..ready, OKAY.  Overly positive=false positive to me...

I honestly think EVERYTHING has a positive side to it Pambo. I really do. Sometimes it's hard to see, but it's there.

Even in the death of my father I took literally dozens of positives away from it. Some of them were life changing.

I know what you mean though, I've met people who are annoyingly happy, but not really for any deeper reason other than that they seem to be on a sugar high or something.

You can be oblivious to reality and be a very happy person, but not an emotionally healthy one.

I agree.  I see most overly happy people as unstable. 


I'm the kind of person that braces for the worst...and if it doesn't happen then cool.  But I'm always ready for the biggest problem....just in case.  It doesn't make for a very happy person...but it makes for a very tough person.  I'm like the Boy Scouts...I'm always prepared.

Yeah, me too.  When it comes to my marriage, I believe that most things aren't worth worrying about.  I stay happy that way.  But, I'm also prepared.

What helps me stay positive is I try to think of a joke or something funny in everything. (Yeah I know hard to believe). If I can make just one other person laugh then that's one less grump in the world.
