I'm gonna be selfish.  I'm gonna fund some research for finding a cure for lupus.  Then I'm ditchin' the man (guinea pig) at whatever prestigous university is doing the research.  I'm GOING on my cruise, dang it.  I'm gonna sail all over the world.  And I'm taking Mema with me.  We'll come back all tanned & go straight to the plastic surgeon's.  We'll get all nipped, tucked, filled & sucked.  We'll be SO fabulous!  Then...well maybe I'll do something for humanity.

we get taxed on income and stuff but our lotto is tax free and we get the whole amount in one go.

Some people choose to not take a lump sum, which spreads out the taxes and makes it be less, but most take the lump sum and get hit hard at once!

I'd still take the lump sum, then invest a quarter or so of it to keep some money rolling in.

Then I'd set up the Hartz fund at COTA so every campaign gets some good seed money.

If they still want me, I'd probably still work, part time or less, via laptop from whatever destination I'm at at the time.

Of course, I'd invest some money in the station.

I'd set up a college fund for my sister and each of my neices and nephews.

I'd set my mom and dad up with their own businesses. My mom and stepdad would probably opt for a ranch out west, and my dad and stepmom would go for a B&B in Key West. And of course, having a room at the guest house at the ranch whenever we wanted it would be required, as well as a room at the B&B (if we don't just move down to Key West ourselves).
