When did you start feeling old?

Since my grandson's birthday reminded me that I'm old, I'm curious.  When did YOU start feeling old?

It was 1998 for me, I had some health problems and since then I have just been old!

I think for me it was around 32. When I was a kid, I remember my parents being in their mid 30's and thinking how old that was. when I got to be the age I used to think was soooooooo old, it finally hit me that now I'm the one who's old.

That was pretty much my situation my whole life Hartz. All my friends were 8 - 15 years older than me so I never felt old.

But eventually you get to an age where that's not possible unless you want to hang out with senior citizens

Mema's younger than I am.  I also hang out with my daughter.  She's not even 21 yet.

To be honest, I feel the same way I felt when I was 8 years old.  Unfortunately, I think some people are born with old souls...I'm guessing that's what happened to me.  Wise beyond my years when I was a kid.  Old before my time now that I'm middle aged.  Bummer.

My daughter was born 44 minutes before Midnight, so I basically got a tax break for filing for supporting her for a whole 44 minutes in 1985

When I turned 25. That's when it all started to fly by. 30 didn't bother as much as 25.

I also believe in the old soul thing. I was always more mature for my age. Maybe that's why I like it here so much! I get to be silly! I grew up way to fast!

ok this is funny, but I still have many of my coloring books. I just haven't been able to part with them. I keep them with my other books.

In Texas I got to color a Chilipepper at Chili's.

Nope.  Bachelors.  I've got a lot of college under my belt but I moved around a lot, too.  None of my credits ever transferred so I'm really starting from scratch.  I've kept putting it off & MEANING to finally get the degree...just never did it.  I dunno.  I am a workaholic & I feel like I won't be able to CONCENTRATE on work while I'm doing the school thing.  I'm a chicken, I guess.

oh pambo, it took me 10 yrs for the degree.....part time school and 55 hrs a week work.  if there is one thing to be said about feeling older, its that you can discern what you are being spoon-fed a bit better, challange/question the instructors when necessary with all the integrity of life-experience. you are no ramen noodle eating snot-filled dorm kid!

DOO EEEEEEEEEEET!!!

I'll prolly be that old lady in the front of the room that everyone makes fun of for asking 50 billion dumb questions...or even better, the old know-it-all in the front of the class correcting everything the professor says.  Either way...they'll all be making fun of me behind my back.  Oh well.  I'm used to it.  I've been "that blind giant" for a few years now.
