Hi DS!


Been busy.  Saw the following shows since I talked to you guys last:


Asia, Jesse Malin, House of Lords (At this point, really just James Christian), Bob Dorough (the guy who wrote & sang many of the "Schoolhouse Rocks" songs - the soundtrack to my childhood!), Nashville Songwriters Series at Joe's Pub (featuring some of my favorite country writers: Victoria Shaw, Bob Dipiero, Gary Burr, Don Henry, and Chely Wright), and Alice Cooper is tomorrow night.  Also went to see "Beauty & The Beast" on Broadway over the weekend and got to meet the one & only Donny Osmond!


I will try to check in more often.  We got into a car accident on our way home from the Jesse concert, and so I've been sort of "out of it."  But no one was seriously hurt (except the car, which was totalled), and all 3 passengers are doing OK.  Lots of paperwork to fill out, Dr. appts, and of course - the car shopping needs to begin soon.

oh my goodness!  that gave me a lump in the throat!  i'm glad to hear that no one was seriously hurt.  glad to see you back on the forum.  hope you are doing alright and the car quest goes well...

You know, I have to say - I really expected them to be more perfect, more right-on.  Maybe my expectations were high, but I would've thought they'd be like Boston or Rush or something.  There was the sloppiness that you normally might see in the first couple nights of a tour.  They each did a song from their past.  "Video Killed the Radio Star", "In the Court of the Crimson King", "Roundabout" and of course, played all the Asia hits you know and love.
