I got this email today.....I wonder how accurate it is but I somehow don't doubt it can be true:

This oughta upset everybody:

U S Foreign Aid to those that hate us:
Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States , still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.
Jordan votes 71% against the United States
And receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
Pakistan votes 75% against the United States
Receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
India votes 81% against the United States

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes (and gasoline)
Pass this along to every taxpaying citizen you know.
I'm sure "voting against" the US means that when the UN takes a vote on an issue, the US votes yes while another person votes no. That doesn't necessarily mean they're voting against us, it means they don't agree with us. Heck, I don't agree with us half the time!
Though I do agree we are giving too much in foreign aid. But I think this email redirects the statistics and takes unrelated issues and puts them back together. For example, what we give in foreign aid and how other countries vote opposite from the US, has nothing to do with gas prices.
What were they voting on ? That should be the key issue. Was it things like ; do we renew Sports Illistrated or was it ; do we lift the ban on weapons grade plutonium to N. Korea ? Then ask yourself why a country voted the way it did and then ask yourself if you were surprised . ( they are pretty predictable at the UN )
As for the foriegn aid , makes it a little more dificult for a Palestinian to believe a radical who tells them the U.S. is evil when they just got thru eating Aunt Jemima pancakes. If I were the Pres. , there would be NO foriegn aid as there would be NO foriegn countries as I would have bombed them all back into the stone age because I'm not feeding them anymore and it would be cruel to watch them starve . This way they die quick.
