The Biggest Loser.... right here


I just joined the "The Biggest Loser Club" online and now I am an official Big Loser.  Well, actually I'd need to lose weight first, but that is why I joined. 


I weighed myself this morning, and damn did I just have to tell myself  "Stop the madness!"  I have no excuses now.   I want to lose about 40 pounds and then I'd be happy. 


I'll keep you posted.  They give you a supermarket shopping list and exercise tips etc.  After reading JD's Blog yesterday on MySpace, it inspired me to get back to the gym.  Wish me luck!

I think the approach of winter is always a good time to have a project like this! replace sunlight and nice weather with a goal for diet and excersize! I know in winter for me, it gets real easy to want to crawl into bed by 8 pm. Not gonna happen!! TO THE GYM!!

Good luck! We're all cheering for ya. A few of us have been trying to eat healthier and exercise more this year. None of us have checked in lately to say how they're doing...

My personal goal was to establish an exercise routine. Now I have Tai Chi classes Monday and Wednesday nights, and I try to work out Tuesdays, Thursdays, and at least one day on the weekend. I haven't kept this up perfectly, but I'm doing a lot better than I ever have before. And by taking the allergens out of my diet along with the exercise, I've lost 13 pounds this year. I know that's not phenomenal, and I have 40 pounds left to go, but at least it's something. And my goal was to live healthier, not to lose weight (though I expected that to be an added benefit), so I would have to say I've reached and continue to strive for my goal.

I want to hit the gym 3x a week for an hour- quick, efficient and effective. 1/2 hr cardio, 1/2 hour weights and stomach crunches.


My goal is to go Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, and then Saturday.


Last year I did it to maintain my weight, this year I want to try and bulk up a bit more. I'd be happy with 4-pack abs.
