The Homecoming Dance Pictures

I don't even know what to say about this, but the girl had 2 dates! The one on the left is Dan. He just broke up with my girl's ex- bestfriend. He asked her the day of the dance. And she has decided that she likes him. The guy on the right is Dylan. That is her ex-boyfriend. This is the second time that they have broken up. Both were her doing, but the first time I don't blame her. This time I'm not so sure.


But she looks beautiful! I love her hair! She never does anything with it so when we decided on this, I was excited!

Well for Dylan that was quite an improvement! He cut his hair and is wearing something other that skater clothes! I say that he wasn't ready to be done with the relationship! I know that someone's shirt was tucked in when they arrived but I'm not sure which since I was tending to the hyperventilating girl in the bedroom! LOL!

Baggy pants, baggy shirt, dress shirt not tucked in, his hair is discheveled looking. Oy! Hope these freaks don't get office jobs when they grow up!

No way, the other one looks Smarmy. I don't trust him further than I could throw him. If I were her Dad the other one would get his azz kicked prematurely just to let him know what he has to look forward to if that smarmy look on his face turns to a smile by the end of the night!

Tie boy put in more effort! on that alone!!


lol holy crap we dressed to the 9's for our homecomings! I had a tight don johnson sport coat, red shirt, leather zebra-stripe tie, penny loafers with quarters in them...red socks to match the shirt. that #*) was TIGHT!


Next year I think it was a peach sweater, with a turtle neck with black flightpants.


TIGHT! that was TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY ONE YEAR ME AND MY BUDDY TONY WENT IN ZUIT SUITS! I think that was at a Winterlude dance tho....but yea at one of the used clothing shops on Brady Street- zuit suits! I think they were $40 each.


OMG do I have to dig for photos one of these days! TIGHT! THEM SUITS WAS TIGHT!!

Oh, she looks beautiful!

I remember, we didn't really dress up for homecoming either. Though I wasn't much of the school dance type. But I did go to my senior prom. And I ended up with 2 dates for prom.

Dylan (no tie) knew all of us! So he was a little more comfortable! Poor Dan got to meet us all at once!


Yes they knew that both of them were going with her. She talked to them and they were fine (so they said)


Dylan's ticket had already been bought before they broke up. So he was definitely going. He has asked if she wanted flowers, but she said no- and he believed her!


Dan didn't ask and brought her a corsage!


Oh and little miss priss got her nails, makeup and hair done. Appointment central! It was crazy!

The Tennis shoes need to go.

Next time a girl says no for flowers. Make sure you buy them.

Oh I know that Dylan(no tie) actually got his haircut. He had much longer hair. And I think that their shirts were tucked in until they got into the house for pictures.

Well I got the scoop on how things went once at the dance. She said that she had a good time. But Gina her ex-bestfriend and Dan's (tie guy) ex-girlfriend did do some shoving of them. And Dylan quickly took off and was later dancing with Gina. Sounds like the 2 jealous ones were trying to make them jealous as well. Oh and I guess some friends are no longer speaking to her because they are mad at her for what she did to Gina. Which I'm not so clear as to what that is. And trust me I know she is no angel but trying to figure out what is going on with teenagers is very difficult! LOL!

she is certainly cute!  our homecoming was also this weekend, but since i don't have any kids in high school (right now), i don't even know if they still have a homecoming dance!


i agree with the boys (jd & jr), it blows me away how the boys dress to take a lady out!  i've tried to explain this to my son, but he also wears untied skate shoes!


all in all, i hope she had a nice time...  did you chaperone the dance?  or did she insist that you go home?  i always wanted to chaperone, but my kids insisted that i not be "one of those moms"

To be honest there weren't any! With all the running around from appointment to appointment, we just made it back in time to start getting her dressed before the guys showed! Then it was a big hurry to get them to Chilli's before taking them to the dance.


 


No DS none of us chaperoned. I don't even think any of us asked.

Our homecoming dance and proms were always a tux occasion.


As far as the untied shoes, I remember wearing my LA Gear, Reebok high tops untied because it was in man! But not to a dance.

I really don't know how it was done at my school - I never went to any of that stuff.  But I think the sneakers are a cute touch - they're kids!  It's cute!
