Finally excited about a tv series

Starting tonight and running through Wednesday, our local pbs station is running a series called "The Making of Milwaukee". I think it will be a great 6 hr history lesson chock full of cool facts, film clips, photographs. I can't wait. I got to pick up videotapes tonight after work!

I think the series goes from like the first native americans here all the way to 1960? Before $#*&( started hittin the fan.

this is way cool! I've always wondered about the history of some of the older buildings downtown, and this show was just a boatload of information. its only 1/3 of the way through too! Plus the histories of many of the street names here in town named after folks.
