Okay I wanted to post this, but I thought it would make JR feel bad. But now we can celebrate!


 


But mine is playing now- Pink Floyd- really more my mood than my favorite!

For now I will stick to how I feel - happy & excited to have our request system back up!  (Just in time, too.  I will be at a record show this weekend, and I couldn't have given out flyers that say "All Requests, all the Time" if it wasn't true!)

OK, well during the outtage, I had wanted to request a song in honor of some rock & roll babies being born very close together.

Two of my favorite guys - Paul Stanley & Taylor Hanson - became dads again with sons. So I was thinking about requesting John Lennon's "Beautiful Boy". But then again, I didn't really know if they were beautiful...

But then I figured with those 4 nice-looking parents involved, their chances were really really good, so I'd just go for it.

Come to find out it didn't matter anyway, because apparently that song isn't on the Request List - just Celene Dion's version. And of course, I would rather chew on tin foil for an hour than listen to her wail.

So tomorrow I shall think of alternatives. (Yes, I know that emoticon is called "confuse", but to me it looks an awful lot like someone thinking hard.)

Ah-ha!  I've got it!  I know someone who always writes "Welcome to the world, ____!" on her "Congratulations on your baby" cards.  Yup - Cheap Trick it is...

Well, here is a picture of River Hanson along with his dad & siblings, although at this point, he's still just a squirmy little thing & there's no telling what he looks like.
