Well, I just cleaned the house, so that frees up more of my weekend. Tonight I'm having dinner with other people from the Tai Chi classes around town. Well, actually, I'm eating first, then watching them have dinner, but I'm not going to stay home just because I can't eat the food.

Tomorrow will be my typical routine, farmer's market, grocery shopping, watching home improvement shows with hubby, then maybe a nap. I need to work on my friend's wedding dress some time this weekend too.

Working tomorrow all day.  10AM - Midnight.  Doing the bartender thingy, and doing it again in the afternoon for a wedding reception.  No Patriot's football on Sunday it is their bye week.  So who knows???  My BF has his 3 year old daughter tomorrow morning till Sunday at 5PM so maybe we'll take her pumpkin picking or something.

siding needs to be done before the rain which is forecasted for the middle of next week!


maybe if he's a good boy and does as he should, i will pick up a bottle of wine...

Going up north to help my uncle clear a couple acres of land he bought recently.

One of FOUR obligations I agreed to three weeks ago when I got WAY too drunk at a wedding and started telling all my family members how much I loved them

I'm praying the cabin we're staying in has a phone line so I can still get on the internet during the evenings

When you say clearing the land JR? Why am I picturing you in a tractor singing "THANK GOD I'M A COUNTRY BOY" LIFE ON THE FARM IS PRETTY LAID BACK  BUY A BUNCH OF WINE AND PUT IT IN A SACK.

lol,

WELL, I do have a cooler full of beer and coke, and an unopened HUGE bottle of Jack Daniels all packed and ready to go.

I can't rule out karaoke on the tractor

Then again, we're gonna be using a shredder/chipper, so I probably won't drink until I get back to the cabin at night. I don't want to become the second Wisconsin guy this year to be diced into bite sized cubes

My best group of friends are all alumni of Murray State University.  They're all driving up tomorrow for the football game, dinner, and get together.  They've invited me along.  I've been looking forward to that all week.

I have a Dr. appt. tomorrow and will be meeting a good friend in the pm. Sunday will just be laid back, having dinner with family as usual. Hubby has campaign work to do for his boss who is up for re-election this November. This time she really has a race so it'll be busy.

My dad is an elected "County Supervisor". He is currently running again. It is also one of those "working" positions. Its not something they get a lot of recognition for, but they do really important stuff.

I'm going with my standard weekend plan for this time of year... work at the shop all day Saturday, watch football between cleaning the house and shopping on Sunday. Last week I won the office football pool.  As the guys pointed out to me when they handed me my winnings, I only need to win it 234.29 more times in order to buy that new Harley.

I just adore Bakke. On the days I used to ride my Fatboy to the office, we used to hook up in the parking lot and make sport of setting off car alarms.  He's always reminding me how much more fun it would be now that we work on the campus and there are a whole bunch of parking garages.

Really Webguy? That's cool. You're right, it is important that someone make those decisions on behalf of the public. It's always very easy to criticize, and usually those highly critical of those in office are those who are either politically-active or least likely to volunteer their own free time to sacrifice and make those tough, unpopular decisions.  Good luck to him.


 


Do you help him out with his campaign?
