Good morning all.  It's cold and rainy in Kansas today.  Expected 'high' is 51, which unfortunately it has already been so I guess temperature wise it is all downhill from here. Hoping otherwise for a good day.

Good mornin' Mema,

Its cold to your North West too. We're at 31 now with some flurries. Nothing much though. We're supposed to get all the way up to 40.

We're going to a bigger city (Kearney) today to do some shopping for bathroom and general "stuff" we need.

The Huskers are playing on TV today and I gotta miss it.

Bummer on missing hte Husker's game!  This is exactly why the shop will never be open on Sundays.  I'd be extra bent if I had to miss my Sunday football game.

Right now Nebraska is ahead 7 to 3 Web, Purify just ran the ball in!

Morning all!

After about 20 weeks the granite bench we ordered for my fathers graveside is finally in! I'm gonna head out today to go look at it. I'm really excited about this. It's engraved with our family name on one side and "In memory of Albert Riggs" on the other side. It's a nice place for people visiting the crypts to sit and reflect.

I know I've been bummed in the past because when I go for walks there I usually take a break after about 2 miles and always have to sit in front of someone elses gravesite No more :)

I hope you're all having a great weekend. If you haven't heard, the six pack is ON!

Thanks Riggs!!  Good news about the bench, I am happy to hear that.  It will be nice for some reflections about your pops, w/o needed someone else's bench!!!

Well that was a close game...sorry you missed it Web! There was a penalty on the last play of the game so NEB had another try but just couldn't do it. 22 to 20 Tex.

Good day all. Did my usual Saturday morning routine: farmer's market, Kroger, Bloomingfoods, Butcher's Block, got home in time to watch the home improvment shows on PBS. Then I fixed the vaccum and swept the hallway (just to make sure it was back to working right), I'll clean the rest of the house tomorrow.
