I usually end up as the designated driver. Usually because my hubby doesn't drive, so I end up being the driver anyway. But that doesn't mean I don't drink. But, if I drink enough to get tipsy, I drink nothing but water for an hour or so before we leave. It's a good comprimise.

I even do that now when I do hit the bar. Usually no shots, or 1. seltzer water with a twist of lemon between drinks, and a few of these at the end. More places than not have poured these free for me.

Plus LS, this isn't a yucky bar, it's the FFR bar. No bar flies, no strange guys trying to hit on you, no smoking, clean restrooms, friendly bartender, clean, comfy. It's the perfect bar, right?
