A few days ago, I was cleaning up the basement under the bathroom where we were working on plumbing. I was going through a box of stuff and throwing some things out and rearranging what was left.

In that box was a "Wake up to Missouri" envelope. It was all the brochures and stuff that we collected on our honeymoon when we went to Branson.

On the back of the envelope, we had written down our miles driven, figured the mileage, and included the cost of the gas. We drove 1,100 miles for $27.00. Sheesh, we've been married a long time.

hey today I went to the farmers market again. I think its about ready to wrap up for the season.


but lately I've been buyin the spaghetti squash like I told you woo? holy crap I got 3 today for $2. and each one is like the size of a watermelon. I was thinking I was going to need the chainsaw to cut through these....but I just found out I can just bake them whole and cut and clean after....I'm gonna have to do that.


what I was excited about tho is that in the freeze frame cookbook WFTR has a great recipie for homade tomato sauce. I got tomatoes and garlic and italian parsley today too, so I am really wantin to try an all natural organic locally grown vegitarian feast that seems like a great italian dinner! a few green peppers to add kick to the sauce too.

holy crap! that's like a tank of gas this past summer in my economy car! 35 mpg highway! no way would I get 1/2 that milage at all! OCTANE IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!

That was an '81 Cavalier. It got about 30mpg. We filled up three times and each time was about nine gallons and nine dollars.
