I also loaded some Smashing Pumpkins WITHOUT listening to it, so if anyone knows that a song of their has the F-word or worse in it please let me know asap.

This Cake cover of "I Will Survive" has the F-word in it.

When I worked at a publishing company, we screened for a few certain words every time we got a manuscript. Maybe you should start requiring people to submit lyrics when they send you songs or request that a song be added.

Ugh.

I knew Smashing Pumpkins were probably a risk, but I don't really know their music very well. I'm glad you do!

The sad thing is, some songs are uneditable.

I won't put an edit up if it sounds butchered, and 50% of the time there's no way to avoid that.

Sometimes an edit is simple.

One of my favorite songs by the Pretenders is off their latest album, the song is called COMPLEX PERSON.

In it Hynde sings that she's a "F**ked up person" three times. I took that line out and I don't think anyone would ever notice. The flow of the song was just perfect for editing.

Of course, I still prefer to listen to the original version at home
