Get a Duran Duran telephone box

Duranduranphonebox I won't cry for yesterday, there's an ordinary world telephone box on eBay that was used by Duran Duran! It's a traditional red British phone box, which was made for the band's 'Wedding Album' tour, and was also seen in the video for 'Too Much Information'. I don't think that's a famous hit, though.

Anyway, it's not a flimsy balsa-wood prop: it's made of wood and steel just like the real thing. And with tens millions of Duran fans currently in tears after the group booted out guitarist Andy Taylor, the fact that the phone box is on eBay for a starting price of just $1,500 may cheer them up. Just maybe.

Well okay, but you will have to wait another 10 months. But if my uncle passes on soon, it maybe sooner. My dad came back from visiting this weekend- he thinks not much longer.


But he did live a great life with LOTS of love!


Anyway, Chitown it is!
