who among you is having skips? Who is not?

Do you notice the studder at the start of each song?

Mine seems to be pretty steady, once in a while it will stop but if I play with my button it starts going again.

I've had this weird thing where if I tune in it's fine for the first 10 minutes or so then start buffering terrible.

But I'm not sure if thats just me or if we're having a problem sending out the stream because last week a lot of people were complaining of skips.

When JD broadcast on Sunday I had NO skips, which makes me think it's something with the OUTGOING stream on our station

I have no skips at work- through the 365 player, but at home it is almost unbearable. I need Web to tell me how to turn off my yahoo player and use 365 through Firefox, it changed when I loaded that program.

Hi all, JR yeah i noticed it was stopping the track for about 5 seconds or so on every other track, could happen more than once on a track as well this was upto yesterday as only just connected today after work!. no problem with JD show though.

I'm pretty good at ignoring the skips anymore, so I don't know if it's been doing it lately. But the other day, a coworker who listens to a country station on live365 (I'm trying to convert her, it just isn;t working!) commented that mine buffered a lot and said that hers doesn't do that.

I'm thinking this might be an issue with the router which has been acting wiggy anyway.

It just seems so odd that it affects everyone in a different way. I need a full time IT guy.

That's GREAT!

It sure would be nice if it would just fix itself!

But do you notice a little skip/stutter at the start of EVERY song? It's particularly noticable if I talk and then start a song cold.

I'll do that now so you can see what I mean. Right after GNR

Hmm, ok. I figured you guys would have mentioned that long ago. So that's probably just an in-studio issue.

Yikes. That's what's so difficult. I never know if it's a problem just here, or if it's going out on the air.

And a lot of times you guys have problems but everything sounds great here.

        seemed good at my end. may be only every now and again on that one. may need to try again.

Err JR noticed skips again, its not a skipping of the track its like a pause for 3 to 5 seconds then continues! very hit and miss this as may not get it for 30 mins then you could get 2 or 3 quickly!

That's probably not a concern D.

Internet radio has so many points at which a skip can occur, that you almost have to expect a second or three every hour.

But when it's like it is right now at my house, where it skips every 90 seconds, THAT'S when you know you got an issue

sounds good tonight from home- no skippin.


we need to add some m-m-mel tellis to the rotation then skipping wouldn't be an issue.
