Well THIS just ticks me off.

I don't want Rumsfeld to step down, but if they were gonna do it WHY NOT DO IT BEFORE THE ELECTION AND GIVE THE VOTERS THE CHANGE THEY WERE ASKING FOR!!!!

I watched it again about six months ago and couldn't get over the technology differences.

The huge green screen computers, the big ol' floppy discs, the modem you actually had to place the phone INTO to get an internet connection, the need for a pay phone to call someone.

Back in the day that was all cutting edge, now it's laughable!

I just read the MSNBC story and it did in fact depend on the outcome. But there were SO many close races, a lot of 50% - 49% Democrat wins. I have to wonder if they'd ousted him two weeks ago and gave the impression of a new direction if that couldn't have swayed a few votes and let the Republicans hold onto control of the House and Senate.

Oh well, supposedly they are smarter men than I, so I guess I have to assume they know what they're doing.

        I agree JR, the moive is still great but the really cool part was when MB got the old coke can top and made connection in the pay phone. wish i could get those old can lids today great for frizbys!
