Christmas Ideas?

Okay, I need your opinions.  My BF and I just bought a new house in July.  WE have an over the stove Microwave.  And everytime he goes to use the microwave he complains. "That microwave sucks..."  It takes so long to heat up something...etc...

Do any of you think it would be a bad idea to buy one of these to give him for Christmas? OR do you think since it a "family" item I should just buy it for no reason?? Ideas??

I think of a microwave as a family item, however if you are trying to cut costs you could tell him that is your gift to eachother and not buy any thing else big.

it is a family item, but it just depends on the person. If we were exchanging gifts this year, I would be more than happy with a new vacuum! LOL!

Sparky and I have done that for a few years that we will buy something that we want/need for eachother as a mutual gift. If we can afford it will get eachother a small item just so we have a suprise gift too. It works great, there is no pressure to find the right gift and you still get something you want.
